Holy Mass

At Stevens Institute of Technology, Newman Catholic offers students the ultimate Source of nourishment and joy: Jesus Christ Himself, truly present in the Holy Eucharist.

We attend 12pm Mass on Sundays at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 404 Hudson St., Hoboken, as a group. Following Mass, all are welcome to join us for bagels and fellowship in the Gateway South lobby. On the First Sunday of each month, we hold Mass on campus followed by a social.

Each week, our chaplain Fr. Jarek celebrates daily Mass on campus. Although we are not obligated to attend Mass during the week, it is an excellent opportunity to grow closer to Jesus and receive the graces we need to live as His disciples. This semester, Spring 25, Mass is celebrated on Mondays at 6:30pm and on Wednesdays at 8pm before Newman Night. North Building 104 is the location for both Masses.

Adoration

Daily Mass is often followed by a brief time of Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, a time for deeper prayer and silent reflection in the presence of Our Lord. During the Spring 25 semester, Adoration takes place from 7 to 8pm on Mondays in North Building 104.

Confession

When we sin, we hurt our relationship with God. In His love and mercy, God has given us a way to repair that relationship, which is through the sacrament of confession. Fr. Jarek is available to hear confessions or to have spiritual conversations during adoration and Newman Night.
